Week 3

Saturday I did Turbo Jam and the Elliptical for cardio. I had to switch up my schedule for the week.
Sunday was Burn Circuit 1. I made it up to 17 push ups. I took two breaks but I got there! Well past my 12 goal. I even pumped out a couple half push-ups on my toes. 4 or 5 I think. Woot! I’m so thrilled about that.
Today was Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. I really feel my legs getting stronger from all the lunges. I didn’t do as well on Ab Burner. I think I prefer to do that first, before working out. I pushed myself today too. I actually did jumping jacks and other jumping moves which I never do!
I’m incredibly proud of myself for some choices I made over the last two days. We went to Carrabbas yesterday. I ate one piece of bread with oil. I can’t believe that I was able to restrain myself so well. While I was tempted, it wasn’t an overwhelming urge. I also chewed my food slowly and really tried to savor it. While I was full when I left, I wasn’t overly stuffed which would be the norm.
The best thing is that I had leftovers which I was going to have today for lunch. But as I started to make it, I decided to mix in some spaghetti squash and tomatoes which made the meal much more filling. I really love making the good choices. I still have more Carrabbas left over so I’ll have the same lunch tomorrow. Yum!
